Han konstaterer, at en af de vigtige følger af det nylige massemord på Gazas befolkning er den endelige afklædning af illusionerne om Oslo-aftalerne. Begivenheden afslører nådesløst, hvor fejlagtigt og naivt det var af palæstinensernes ledere at acceptere bantustan-taktikken fra besættelsesmagten, og han konkluderer overbevisende:
"Hence the necessity for an alternative paradigm that divorces itself from the fiction of the two-prison solution, a paradigm that takes the sacrifices of the people of Gaza as a turning point in the struggle for liberation, one that builds on the growing global anti-apartheid movement that has been given an impetus by Gaza 2009. De-Osloizing Palestine is, therefore, a precondition for the creation of peace with justice."(Min fremhævelse)
